Fueling Creativity w/ Maximilian Büsser, Founder MB&F

Join us for the third edition of the INSEAD Objects of Beauty series in Switzerland, featuring Maximilian Büsser, founder of Maximilian Büsser & Friends (MB&F).

In 2017 we learned about building a successful fine craftsmanship brand, with and without centuries of tradition. At the second Objects of Beauty event we discussed what it takes to realize your fine craftsmanship dream from two remarkable Swiss entrepreneurs. This time we tackle creativity. More than ever, there is a need for creativity: creativity to enable successful brands but also creativity to enable disruptive business innovation. Maximilian Büsser, founder of MB&F, knows what it takes to keep creativity alive. MB&F develops timekeeping pieces that defy qualification. They are horological machines, somewhere between the world of fine watchmaking and kinetic sculpture. Within a decade MB&F went from being one person’s dream to a profitable brand. Discover some of the secrets of sustainable creativity and learn ways to fuel creativity for use in all our endeavors. The event will be moderated by INSEAD alumna Mafalda Tenente, MBA’06J. Following the Q&A session there will be a networking Apéro Riche. Join us and be inspired!

Maximilian Büsser, Founder, MB&F Maximilian Büsser is the Founder of MB&F. He began his career at Jaeger Le Coultre. He then became the managing director of Harry Winston Rare Timepieces in 1998 when he was just 31 years old. During his seven years there he transformed the company into a well-respected haute horlogerie brand. In 2005 the desire to allow his creativity and energy full reign saw Max resign from Harry Winston to form his creative ideal: MB&F. Max has a Master’s degree in Micro-Technology Engineering from EPFL.
