Marco Montefiori is Managing Partner at Payflow Digital Inc. For over 20 years he has been fostering growth at some of the largest global energy companies, both private and governmental. His experience ranges from global commodity prop trading to venture financing, M&A transactions and G2G programs. Marco has undertaken governance roles in both for-profit and non-for-profit organizations in Germany, Switzerland, US, India and Italy. He has also been investing in and advising technology startups since early 2000. He holds a honours degree in Economics from University of Genova (1997), an INSEAD MBA (J05), and completed the IN-BOARD program in 2019. Marco is a Swiss citizen, married, an involved father, and lives in Geneva.
Laurent Brunner, CGM’19

Laurent works as an Asset Manager for hydro-powerplants at BKW. He is an experienced project manager and business development specialist in the energy sector, with over 10 years’ experience developing new projects and solutions. He is especially interested in creating value and supporting innovation in complex multidisciplinary contexts, and participated for several years in working groups on energy at the Swiss level. He holds an MSc. in Microtechnology from EPFL, and a Certificate of Global Management from INSEAD. He is married with two children and lives in Sierre.

Didier is Chairman of Omega Wealth Management SA, and holds director and advisory positions in the board of family offices in several countries. He is also Director of the International Thorium Energy Committee 2023, sponsored by the IAEA and the CERN. Former Chief Investment Officer of ABN Amro Private Banking since 2005 to January 2019, Didier has 35 years of experience in investments. He is a lecturer in leadership, investment decision and governance at INSEAD and Cambridge Judge Business School of Management. He is a regular speaker on CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV and other major media networks. He holds a DEA in Finance and a Master’s degree in Economics from Grenoble University and Science Po.
Avigdor Luttinger, MBA’79

Avigdor is Head of Strategy and Marketing and former Board Member at Electriq Global. Building on a long and rich career as an IT entrepreneur, he reinvented himself in 2010, shifting to consultancy, coaching and mentoring in innovation. He presently works with innovators in the fields of Energy Transition, Cleantech, Agtech, and Digital Business at large.
Dr. Lars Schernikau, MBA’96D

Lars started his career at BCG where he worked for 6 years. Since then Lars has been immersed in the energy and commodity industry for over two decades. He is the co-founder, shareholder, and former board member of two publicly listed international companies HMS Bergbau AG and IchorCoal NV, active in commodity marketing and mining. he is also a renowned energy economist and keynote speaker at global energy and commodity forums, and an advisor to governments, banks, educational institutions, and conglomerates on macro and energy economics. Lars is an author of several books, research papers, and articles, including “The Unpopular Truth… about Electricity and the Future of Energy”.

Ursula is an expert at innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Agency, and a seasoned innovator and entrepreneur. Having held various positions in R&D and industry throughout Europe, she leverages her deep expertise in technology & product development and strategic innovation to create value for clients. Since 2014, she has lectured on thinking methods and innovation at the Institute for Competitive Intelligence. She excels at developing and applying collective intelligence methods for sustainability, innovation, and competitive intelligence. Ursula holds a Master’s degree in engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt and an executive MBA from INSEAD.
