For the 3rd year the INSEAD Alumni Association France is running a series of leadership Masterclasses.
These masterclasses are designed by Fanny in the context of our partnership with BCG. The first interactive webinar takes place on December 9th.

MasterClass #1: Changing the world is about activism

What is your biggest concern with the state of the world now?
What can you do about it as Generative Leaders?
Join us to hear about formidable young activists who have changed their world.
To deepen the debates, we invite you to watch BIGGER THAN US a 96-minutes documentary shot in seven countries, covering the most pressing issues of our times and the actions of seven amazing young change-makers to save lives and dignity in their respective community. It is an ode to our world and to our Youth, its wisdom and courage. Its very desire to live big. Upon registration, you will receive a private link to watch the documentary.
A panel of seasoned leaders will offer their perspectives on these questions, with as moderator Marie Humblot-Ferrero, Managing Director and Partner, BCG and co-author of Why the World Needs Generative Leaders :
– Flore Vasseur, Director and Founder of Bigger Than Us
– Quentin Bordet, Project Leader at BCG Climate & Sustainability, BCG, initiator of BCG internal community “GoGreen”

Following the round table, participants will be split in smaller groups and exposed to different cases related to the theme. This will be a great opportunity to engage in healthy debates.

MasterClass #2: Generating resources by changing the leadership software

Extractive leaders consume resources – they take. Generative Leadership seeks to create value for people, society, and shareholders. It replenishes reserves and expands potential. Generative Leadership insists on seeing people, planet and society always as ends in themselves—never only as the means to some other goal. They give and rebuild.

MasterClass #3: Generative leaders let go of their ego

They strive as ONE TEAM to leave the world a better place than they found it. It’s no longer possible for any one individual to grapple alone with the complexity of the world. Generative leadership build teams that bring together and act on different perspectives. Generative Leaders also think about who is not around them on their leadership team — to ensure that they aren’t missing a key voice or stakeholder.
