Vaccines and Innovative Patient Access
Presentations, panel discussion and Q&A
Tuesday, 8 July 2025
Vaccines are one of the greatest public health success stories in history. In 1980, the WHO officially declared the eradication of smallpox, a disease with a 30% mortality rate for the most common and deadly form. Vaccines continue to play an important role in protecting us from, among others, human papillomavirus (HPV), thus helping to prevent cervical cancer and other HPV-related cancers.

Our next Healthcare Club event on the topic of vaccines will be hosted by Merck & Co (MSD outside the US and Canada), one of the leading global vaccines providers, at their Global Innovation and Development Hub at the Circle.

Our panel of industry experts will touch on a wide range of questions, including:
  • What role do vaccines play in healthcare systems today?
  • What are the key lessons learnt from recent vaccines launches?
  • How can patients in all areas of the world gain access to vaccines?
This will be an event with thought-provoking presentations and discussions for anyone interested in the promise of vaccines for improved health and wellbeing.
