Dr Scheuer will share his unique insights behind the challenges of the renewable energy transition and the decarbonization of industrial processes, exemplified on some of ABB areas of strength:

 | Dr. Gerald Scheuer Former Head of Global R&D at ABB Gerald was the Head of Global R&D until December 2023. He is currently Principle Technical Consultant with ABB Switzerland and the Insitute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer (IEEE) and brings 25 years of experience with ABB in power electronics and electrical devices. He was lecturer at ETH for over 15 years. He holds a degree in electrical engineering (equivalent M.Sc.) from Technical University Karlsruhe, Germany and a Ph.D. in Power Electronics from ETH Zurich. |
 | Marco Montefiori, MBA’05J President, INSEAD Energy Club Switzerland Marco brings over 30 years of professional experience spanning from startups, as founder, board mamber and investor; to large global private and governmental corporations in energy, as senior global energy executive, covering governance roles; and philanthropic organizations, as board member and founder. He is currently Managing Partner of Payflow Digital, a fintech startup. |
