Insider Secrets for a New Career at a Life Science Startup, Schlieren

It’s a tremendous challenge to leave a corporate career for an entrepreneurial one but the path has been trodden well-enough that expertise can be now shared. Join us for insights at a discussion panel with executives from the thriving Swiss healthcare ecosystem. The event takes place at Bio-Technopark in Schlieren, home to dozens of life science ventures, and just 20 minutes from the Zurich main train station.
Please note: The panel discussion begins at 18:00 without a preliminary drinks reception (doors open at 17:30). Refreshments, networking and an apéro riche will immediately follow the panel discussion at 19:30 at a nearby venue.

	Dr. Priyanka Belawat, Investment Advisor, HBM Partners With HBM Partners for over 12 years, Dr. Priyanka Belawat has experience in investments in biotech/pharma, diagnostics and services businesses. She serves on the boards of Adrenomed (Germany), Neurelis Inc. (USA), iTEOs Therapeutics SA. In the past, she participated on the boards of TrueNorth Therapeutics (USA, acquired by Bioverativ in 2017), ARMO Biosciences (USA, acquired by Eli Lilly in 2018), Forbius (Canada), Sai Lifesciences (India) and 1MG (India).
	Philipp Buis, Executive Director Coulter Partners A senior level international search executive with a focus on life science (pharma, medtech and biotech), Philipp Buis leads the Zurich office of Coulter Partners since 2017. He draws on 18 years of experience in executive search, partnering with leading niche players as well as large cap corporations within Life Sciences. In the past, he was a Senior Partner at Jauch Associates and Partner at Ward Howell Group/Neumann International.
	Jolanda Groenhuijzen, MD Managing Director of MyLanda GmbH Besides owning a consulting company serving companies in the process of growth and change, Dr. Jolanda Groenhuijzen is a member of the board of several organizations, including CTC Resourcing Solutions and merakoi. She has more than 20 years experience in industry, holding international operational and managerial roles at blue chip companies, such as AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Novartis.
	Dr. Reto Naef, CEO, Topadur Pharma AG Dr. Reto Naef, together with an experienced pharma  team, founded Topadur Pharma AG  in  2015 to develop new molecular drug candidates. In addition to his CEO role at venture-backed Topadur Pharma, Reto Naef is  a consultant to Novartis, where he is responsible for the promotion of research groups in its Prime Force initiative. During his career at Novartis, he filed 12 patents and was involved in the development of three major products that reached market maturity.
