Professor Tobias Straumann: Lessons from history for the age of multiple crisesWednesday 22 November, 2023
Pandemic, supply chain problems, war in Ukraine, geopolitical tensions in Taiwan, energy shortages, inflationary pressures, interest rate hikes and bank runs: the last three years have hardly given us a chance to take a breath. As unique as these crises are, parallels can be found to past events. Professor Tobias Straumann analyzes economic history and derives lessons on how best to manage such crises. The INSEAD Alumni Association looks forward to this exciting lecture and an interesting discussion with Professor Straumann.
There will be a possibility for Q&A after the presentation, followed by networking, a light dinner, and drinks.
