The Basel Chapter looks forward to welcoming alumni from across Switzerland on Saturday 17 June for our main cultural and social event of the year, a guided tour of Art Basel followed by drinks and dinner.

This is a unique opportunity to discover one of the world’s most prestigious international art fairs, featuring over 200 leading galleries and more than 4,000 artists from every continent. Friends and family, including children, are welcome to come along to enjoy the art and get to know each other in a fun and social atmosphere!

We will meet directly at the Congress Center at 16.00 for a tour of Halls 1 and 2. After discovering the artworks on display in the company of an expert, we will head to KLARA, a trendy marketplace-style restaurant just 5 mins walk from Art Basel. There, we will enjoy drinks followed by dinner in a “Privé” space reserved exclusively for our group, with a bar and music. You will receive a dinner voucher that you can use to order dinner from one of 9 KLARA’s world-food kitchens.

Children are most welcome to join this family-friendly event! Art Basel offers free childcare for children aged 4–12 through the Art Kids activity programme. Babysitting is also available for children under 4 (more information on the Art Basel website under “Art Kids”).

CHILDREN’S TICKETS 
·        Ages 0 to 12: No ticket needed. Refer to “ArtKids” recommendations above. Food can be paid for directly at any of the KLARA kitchens.
·         Ages 12 and over not joining the guided tour: No ticket needed. However, please note that there are no childcare options available for this age group. Food can be paid for directly at any of the KLARA kitchens.
·        Ages 12 and over joining the guided tour: Please purchase a “TICKET WITHOUT ADMISSION”.

Children of all ages are welcome to our “Privé” space at KLARA.
