Nuclear Renaissance: Powering Our Future

In March 2023, the EU included Advanced Nuclear Technology in its definition of net-zero technologies. This decision puts CERN spinoff Newcleo and its Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and Generation IV Reactors at the forefront of the nuclear comeback, by helping make the energy mix more resilient in the journey towards decarbonization.

Alberto will share his knowledge and latest insights on:

Alberto De Min
Chief Business Officer and co-founder of Newcleo
Alberto is serial entrepreneur, co-founder of APM Technologies, SpinX Technologies, and Preon Capital Partners. He was a senior investment professional at Index Ventures, Strategic Investment Advisors and Lombard Odier. A former researcher at CERN, he holds a PhD in Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics and an EMBA from HEC Lausanne.

President, INSEAD Energy Club Switzerland
Marco brings over 30 years of experience spanning from startups, as founder, board member and investor; to large global private and governmental corporations, as senior global energy executive, covering governance roles; and philanthropic organizations, as board member and founder. He is currently Managing Partner of Payflow Digital (YC2021), a fintech startup.
