Barbara Kux is one the most accomplished INSEAD Alums. She is a multi-Board Director, a perennial entry on Top Business leader lists, and a sustainability champion.

Join us by Zoom to hear Barbara’s views on how Boards can navigate today’s challenging world, how to implement sustainability, and her learnings from an enriching career.

Barbara is an expert on corporate governance, sustainability/ESG, digital transformation, supply chain management, and emerging markets.
She was personally involved in creating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Barbara has served on the executive, non-executive, or advisory boards of the following companies, amongst others:

-Adobe
-Engie
-Firmenich
-Gorsvenor
-Henkel
-Philips
-Siemens (first woman in the company’s history on the Management Board)

Her career started with McKinsey, then progressed quickly through emerging market leadership roles at ABB, Nestlé, and Ford.

A long-serving INSEAD Advisory Board member, Barbara was named one of 50 INSEAD alums who changed the world. Barbara is also an honorary director in residence of the INSEAD Corporate Governance Center.

Cintia Tavella, outgoing President of INSEAD Alums US and incoming IAA VP for Sustainability and Governance, will cover sustainability topics.
