The threats to oceans affect the health of the planet and people’s lives but there are some solutions emerging. Learn more about this compelling topic at a lunchtime event that features Alasdair Harris, Executive Director of Blue Ventures, along with INSEAD alumni, Fabrice d’Erm, YMP’04, and Chirag Shah, MBA’96D, both from The Rocket Foundation. They will be joined by the 2021 INSEAD MBA candidates who worked with them as part of the School’s Social Enterprise Consulting group, namely Matthew Michaelides, MBA 21J, Ankit Sheth, MBA 21D, and Johnny Chen, MBA 21D

	Alasdair Harris, Executive Director Blue Ventures Alasdair is a marine conservationist working at the interface of marine protection and poverty alleviation leading Blue Ventures, which develops a locally led approach to marine conservation that benefit people and nature alike in the western Indian Ocean and SE Asia. Alasdair is an Ashoka fellow, Skoll Awardee, and TED fellow. He holds a PhD in marine ecology and an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh
	Fabrice d’Erm, YMP’04, Co-Founder, The Rocket Foundation Fabrice co-founded The Rocket Foundation to identify, grow, scale and multiply projects and people making a positive impact. He has a 20 year career in the finance industry. Alongside he worked on social and environmental impact projects. For over 10 years he has been working with start-ups as an investor, coach and board director.
	Chirag Shah, MBA’96D, Entrepreneur in Residence, The Rocket Foundation Chirag joined The Rocket Foundation in May 2020, bringing 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur and business angel. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD. His company Simfoni is a pioneer in the development of Impact Assessment, an analytical tool designed to help corporates measure the extent of their ‘do goodery’.
