15 – 17 Mar – INSEAD Ski Weekend in Disentis

We are delighted to announce that registration is open for the INSEAD ski weekend in Disentis from Friday evening on March 15 to March 17, 2019!

NSEAD Ski Weekend in Disentis
March 15, 2019

Open to all ages, we hope you will join in and bring your family. Register on XING for the ski weekend’s two special dinners and optional snow activities on Saturday.

Friday, March 15 in the evening, at 19h, the weekend will start with a “Pizza Dinner” in Hotel Catrina with all sorts of pizzas by Claudio, an award-winning Italian and international pizza champion.

Saturday, March 16 in the evening, at 19h, we will take the gondola to the Caischavedra mountain station and enjoy a fondue in the station restaurant with a fabulous view over the valley.

If you need accommodation, you can take advantage of an INSEAD special package for hotel and ski passes at the Catrina Resort Hotel http://www.catrina-resort.ch. A separate booking for accommodation is required. (See more info below). If the event is a success, we plan to run it annually. We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you and your guests and families in March 2019!

Please note There is limited accommodation in the Catrina hotel/resort Allocation is on first come, first serve basis.

Optional Freeriding The activity includes equipment and avalanche training with a local mountain guide. All safety materials (shovel, avalanche pole, avalanche search device) will be provided; Lunch will be in the restaurant and is not included. For information about the organisation see https://alpventura.ch/ The price is CHF 150 (minimum 5 participants).

Optional Special Ski/Snowboard School The activity is for children and includes lunch and 3.5 hours of instruction. The price is CHF 70 / child. The course will only be conducted, if there are 5 children or more. Children should be 6 years or older and already know some Skiing/Snowboarding. If there are enough Snowboarders, they would also offer a Snowboard course.

Special Arrangements (Book Separately)

Accommodation The Hotel Catrina is offering a two night package including breakfast and 2 day ski passes at a special INSEAD price of CHF 250 for adults and CHF 125 for children (up to 15 years old). Book by email hotel@catrina-resort.ch. Remember to mention the number of adults and children and insert INSEAD in the subject line.

Ski/Snowboard Rental The Mountain Air shop in Disentis is kindly offering a 20% discount for those of us wishing to rent mountain and/or ski gear. Simply mention “INSEAD” when booking  your rental. There is a shop at the valley station (very close to the hotel/resort) as well as one at the mountain station.

Skiing Classes The Ski and Snowboard school offers regular classes on Sunday. You can sign in directly at Schneesportschule Disentis.
