Join us online or in-person for a stimulating discussion followed by a fun evening of networking! Frederic Van Mullen will talk us through Medtronic’s journey to building a culture of inclusivity. A global leader in medical technology, Medtronic has received numerous honours for its commitment to D&I in the workplace, including Forbes Magazine Best Employer and DiversityInc Top 10 Employers for Diversity. How did it get there? What lessons were learned along the way? And how does a diverse and inclusive workplace drive its competitiveness today? Frederic will answer these questions and more in his talk and Q&A session.
The IWIB Swiss Role Model Series aims to bring visibility to pioneers in diversity and inclusion. The series is organized in collaboration with Fish in the Boardroom, a podcast about diversity and inclusion in Swiss leadership.

Since joining Medtronic in 2019, Frederic Van Mullem has played a key role in driving transformational change within the company. His career in HR and Legal spans 30 years and multiple industries, from pharmaceuticals and chemicals to high tech capital equipment and medical devices.

Andrea is a marketing and sales executive with an international career in the medical device industry. She is a member of the Swiss IWIB Committee and the host of Fish in the Boardroom, a podcast focusing on how to bring more diversity, equity and inclusion in Swiss leadership.

Laurence is a non-Executive Board Member at Geneva Sport SA, the Finance and Audit Committee Chair at Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and an interim CEO or Chief Transformation Officer for international SMEs or Business Units caring about their Double Bottom Line. She is the president of IWIB Geneva, the co-creator of the Swiss Mentoring Program and a founding member of the Interim Management Club of the French NAA.
